Grammy 2021: Beyoncé e sua filha saem como maiores vencedoras sem os principais méritos

A noite memorável de Beyoncé ficará para sempre marcada por várias controvérsias, desagrados e surpresas, sobretudo com a não indicação do músico The Weekend em nenhuma das 84 categorias, apesar de todo o sucesso do álbum Blinds Lights e de se tornar o único artista da história da música mundial a estar o ano inteiro no topo das paradas.

Beyoncé, indicada em nove categorias, foi a vencedora da noite. A cantora levou quatro estatuetas e atingiu o número de 28 Grammy, ultrapassando o recorde de Alison Krauss, tornando-se na maior vencedora da histórias da premiação, mas foi Tailor Swift a grande vencedora da noite.

Queen Bee arrebatou prémios na categoria melhor clipe com Brown Skin Girl, que foi dividido com a sua filha, Blue Ivy. Com este prémio, a menina de 9 anos tornou-se a segunda artista mais jovem a ganhar a estatueta.

Os prémios mais importantes da noite foram para Taylor Swift, com o melhor álbum do ano ” Folkore e para Billie Eilish, que venceu a gravação do ano por Everything I Wanted.

A cantora H.E.R. também se destacou ao ultrapassar Beyoncé e Taylor Swift com a melhor canção do ano com a música I Can’t Breathe. Outro prémio importante ficou com Burna Boy. P nigeriano ultrapassou Antibalas, Bebel Gilberto, Anouskka, Shankar e Tinariwen com Twice At All a sair como o “melhor álbum global”. Fiona Apple levou dois Grammy, um de melhor performance de rock e o outro de melhor álbum alternativo.
